We are a virtual airline, originally based on the island of Madagascar, which
has now rapidly expanded with 8 hubs around the world: Africa, Oceania, North
America, Central America/Caribbean, South America, Europe, West Asia and East
Asia. We currently have over 3000 routes to choose from around the world and
this number is growing fast.
Our
mission at Vorona is simple. We want you to enjoy your flying - to us, this is
the primary purpose of a virtual airline. You can be as realistic (or not) in
your approach as you like. We have 2 major types of route available - Domestic and
International. Domestic flying can involve anything from bush flying routes to
local commuter runs, and International flights link all the hubs with each other
as well as linking different areas of each hub. This unique diversity allows us to
cater for both types of simulator pilot. We also have a busy Cargo division,
again with both International and Domestic routes available.
And
something not seen very often in any virtual company, we accept PIREPS for
bush flying on destinations of your
choice anywhere in the world (we have 150+ custom-made bush airfields
available on Madagascar itself in addition to our
25 hand-built domestic airport sceneries in the island). You can also file
PIREPS for test flights as well as private charters.
We have over 30 different aircraft available for download in our own custom livery on the FLEET
page on our website. These are tailored for all types of flying (Domestic,
International, Passenger and Cargo)
and we will gradually expand our fleet of aircraft as new pilots come on
board.
In the FILES section on the forums, we also have links to relevant
international airport scenery and meshes to add that extra touch of realism.
On top of this, we have also built our own custom domestic airports for
Madagascan
local destinations served. You will need to have a copy of Microsoft Flight
Simulator 2004 or FSX to enjoy this scenery - we cannot guarantee compatibility with
earlier versions of Flight Simulator. We are also now fully FSX compatible.

All we ask in return is that you undertake a minimum of 1 flight every month
